Advance Parole denied and visa expired

My case:
-A family with L1/L2 visa on process to get the green card thru I-485

My situation
- My process (L1 Visa to GC) is on track, I already have the EAD/AP Card and my passport is stamped as "paroled". My L1 visa expired but I have the parole (No issues)...

We applied Advance Parole (AP) extension document on Nov 6th, 2014.

My current AP expires on Jan 4th 2015.

I tried calling USCIS to see if my extension can be expedited when I was in US. As father’s the condition worsened, I had to leave US and be with him.
