Handed yellow slip 222(g) passport kept and fingerprints taken
I was handed a yellow slip by the visa officer in India after my B1 visa interview. I had misdemeanour battery arrest but NO charges were brought in by the DA. The visa officer thanked me for declaring my arrest and asked me what happened. I explained about my bad marriage and that no charges were brought...Last edited by delhigirl; 09-08-2022, 12:25 PM.

Hello ,
my friend attended h4 visa interview and was refused due to criminal history ( grand theft -shoplifting) the officer refused and said he is inadmissible to us and can apply for waiver .
He took another interview date - and asked for a recommendation...

Applying for B1/B2 with an arrest on the record but no conviction.
Hi,
I am trying to applying for B1/B2 but I have an arrest on my record but was never convicted and was cleared by the court. So the question is how good are my chances if I say yes to the question "have you ever been arrested or convicted..." in the security and background section...
