I just landed in US last week and i am planning to request for an EAD.
Please suggest if i need to pay the Biometric Fee as well ?
On some forums i read that biometric fee is not required anymore as they refer to the biometric data captured during the Visa processing....

I got my Biometrics appointment letter over the weekend and I have a work conflict travel on my appointment date - is it possible to just walk in early? I am in New York City and have an appointment at Varick St USCIS office.
Also, how do you get to an operator on the USCIS helpline?...
