I'm a wee bit confused as to how to fill form I-751 to get my conditional status removed. My wife (US Citizen) and I (conditional green card holder) are separated, but not yet divorced, however we do plan on getting divorced. Our lawyer at the time (about a year ago) told us to wait...

Hello,

I came to US around 4 years back to complete my masters and 2 years back i fell in love and married a US citizen and got my conditional Green card.
Now we are getting divorce and my conditional GC expires in Jan,2018. I need to apply for removal of conditions on the GC alone....

My husband entered the US on a Conditional Resident Green Card in 2010.
We left the country in June 2012, before it expired on Oct 18, 2012. So no violation there....
