DV Visa Intervıew Set - Pregnancy

We are DV lottery winners. Our visa appointment was set for February but by that time my wife will be 8th months pregnant.

I talked to official immigration doctor's office and they said they would NOT do the medical examination at this late stage of pregnancy.

I am currently an international student in United States. I fill every requirement except the one where I need two years of work experience. So if I get selected and then go to the interview will they disapprove my selection?

I was selected for 2015 DV but didn't figure out until May this year. I gave my biometrics (fingerprinting) on July 10 and have been waiting since.

What should I do now?

Do I wait to receive a letter from USCIS or do I have to schedule an interview? September 30 is arriving...

Assuming that it is a straightforward case, i.e. single, no dependents, no criminal record, no health issues, etc.
