I am filling DS160 for visa stamping and confused due to my unique situation:

- I joined a new employer on 14th October 2019 and my new employer filed a petition for me for transfer

DS160 asks about previous employment.
my dad retired last year so i know i have to fill up that part of the form.
but what should i enter as the start date of his employment.
date when he started job 40 years ago?
