I've recently applied for the EAD by submitting form i765 and now have to wait the 90 days for it to be processed (Assuming there are no errors...

I have been wanting to move jobs. Since, I am on a L1 visa there is not much flexibility. My wife is on E3 visa and I am planning to go under her and work on E3D. Is there a way to go on a E3D visa from L1 and get work authorization without having to quit my current job?
