Traveling for F1 Stamping after change status

Hi,
I am current MS student got change of status from H4 to F1. Is it advisable to travel to India for F1 stamping when only 1.5 months are left to I-20 expiry? Travel is for some family business not solely for stamping and do plan to come back in 2 weeks. Please guide.

I am on H4 visa. My H4 petition is approved till 2018 , however H4 stamp on passport is expired. I am planning to go for F1 stamping in India. In case of an F1 rejection, how soon can I go for H4 stamping? Will it risk my H4 stamping?

Folks, I am under a lot of stress. I had done my MBA from a reputed Univ in 2005 went to work for an American Firm until 2009. Due to a death in the family, I returned to India and quit my job.

I now want to return to the US on an F1, I got my I-20 for an MBA ( diff emphasis this time)....
