I have to convert from F2 to F1 visa.
1.if i apply for a change of status from f2 to f1 within US, will i get my f1 visa status in 2 months?

Hi,

I am in F2 visa for past 6 months and want to change it to F1. I have got admission for MBA Fall 2011 and planning to go for COS (change of Status) to F1 in the last week of June. Do you think 45 days is sufficient to get my COS approved or is it better to go to India for visa stamping?...
