Is g325a no longer required in the application for adjustment of status?

I am in F1-OPT and I am going to apply for adjustment of status based on marriage. I was recently told that I do not need to file any g325a, neither for me or my wife (petitioner). Is this correct?

I am in the process of filling forms I-129F and G-325A. I download the .pdf files from uscis.gov. When I print the completed forms, the information I entered prints very light is this normal? I worry that this might be a problem with uscis. Does anyone have this problem and or a solution.
