Can I travel for H1B stamping to Canada with 7 months remaining on my current H1B ?

I work for one of the Big4 consulting firms and I am currently on my final period of my H1B extension. H1B is set to expire on Sep 30th 2018. I am planning on getting my H1B stamping done in February 9th 2018 in Ottawa, Canada. My question is, would it be safe to get stamping with 7 months remaining...
