I got my H4 visa stamping in India in 2012 and I came to USA in 2012.
I got my H1 approved in 2013 and I worked for about a year. No H1 visa stamping, just status chnage from H4 to H1.
I switched back to H4 in 2014.
Note: My H4 & H1 petitioner is same....
