Middle Name on HDFC Receipt and Not on DS-160

Name mentioned on the Passport do not contain Middle Name. Hence, I didn't enter it in DS-160. However, the HDFC Receipt contains Middle Name.
Is it possible to get name corrected on HDFC Receipt. If yes, how ?

When I am filling the form for the visa fee at HDFC, on the form there is a place to write the Petition Number. It would be great if someone can help me on that?
Is petition number same as receipt number?

I am a bit confused about which HDFC location I can submit the visa fee at? Immihelp suggests that every consulate has some designated HDFC locations where fee can be deposited, however the VFS site does not mention anything regarding consulate-designated HDFC locations.

My cousin brother is going to visit US Consulate in Hyderabad in early Jan 2012. We realized today that we have given only two green HDFC visa fee receipts for his H1 B visa stamping towards VISA fee. We were not given a BLUE & PINK HDFC visa fee receipts in bank .

I paid visa fees at HDFC bank today. On VFS website it says that

"Please note, you are required to wait for one working day from the date of purchase of your visa fee receipt before you can use it for scheduling your interview appointment."

I have a question for visa hdfc receipt. My relative had entered a wrong date of birth during paying fees at HDFC. Is that a issue? Someone ever faced that issue? if yes, what is the solution? I am trying to contact VFS for the same.
