I had stayed and worked in US on L1-B Blanket Visa from April 2013 through May 2014. I am in India now as I write this post.
The visa stamped on passport shows expiry on 5th March 2016.
The PED date on the stamped visa also mentions 5th March 2016.

I appeared for L1 Visa interview and was put under admin processing. After the visa interview they retained two copies of I-129S, passports and returned other documents, pink slip to me.
Since L1 Blanket visa approvals need two copies of I-129S stamped by visa officer...
