OCI image upload problem, error message "Some error occurred"

When I try to upload my mother's passport size photo, I get the error "Some error occurred"

anyone else facing this problem ? How do I resolve it ?

I tried starting a new application but run into the same message.

I'm a M.Tech Student of Mechatronics Engineering, and have done my B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication.

I want to pursue a PhD in Robotics or more preferably in Image Processing.
I'm still in my M.tech programme, and would finish it in June 13.
