My Spouse and Kid will arrive USA in the month of July, 2016. Will I be eligible for deduction of dependents in Tax Return of 2016?

Do they need to be in USA for 183 days in the same financial year (if coming first time)?

My 1 year old kid is in India, and intiating H4 for her, once the visa got approved if I change employer here, whether she can travel with the same visa or again she has to go for stamping.

Hi All,

Me n my wife have L1 and H1 respectively. My son currently is on L2.
We now want him to be a dependent of other parent, so want his visato be moved to H4.(reason is both parents might be located in different city for a while).

My in-laws will be visiting US next month for the first time with my son. My son is 2.5yrs old, he was in US for 4 months earlier and has been in India since Feb'10.

Will this be a problem at the port of entry? Are there any documents useful to support that we will be taking care of kid...
