H4 EAD after L2 EAD expiry

Hi,

My wife had L2 EAD, which expired in 2009 when we went back to India. Currently, I have H1B VISA and I140 approved and planning to apply for her H4 EAD.

We have lost the old EAD card, do we need that card or we can apply as new EAD as it is different category.
