My wife who was in H4 stayed back in India to attend a course after our vacation in December. I have brought her Original passport with me to file ITIN, but as requested by IRS i have send her Original passport to them. They have issued the ITIN but they havent returned back the passport....

I recently became US citizen by naturilization and used to be Indian passport holder earlier. I do not have any OCI/PIO status yet (plan to do later this year). I need to go to India for a short trip; single entry is sufficient. I live under San Francisco Indian consulate jurisdiction.
