I have a valid L1B visa till December 2018 and in progress of filing an extension. My I-94, PED and Visa end date are expiring on same date in Decemeber 2018.
My husband has his valid H1B till August 2019.
Can someone advise on the following?...

I received the NTA under section 237 A)1)B) as my H1B extension record was not available with CBP( at US/CANADA border) and I was not carrying the latest copy of I94 with me. I have the I94 valid until 03/29/2019.
What should be next step before I appear before Immigration Court. -

I am currently on L1-B and my application for extn. was denied for a couple of reasons mainly due to burden of providing adequate information not met.
My employer suggested that since my I-94 is still valid until 12-Aug-2018, they will file a new extension application...
