Problem with reissue of passport

Hello friends,

I need help regarding the problem I am facing with the reissue of my Indian passport. I made a mistake in filling up the form and it has now become a huge mess for me.

I am living and studying in Germany since last 3 years. My old passport expires in September....

My L1B visa will expire on 9/30/16 & passport will expire on 3/26/17.Now I applied for L1B & have appointment in India for extension of Visa. So Shall I apply for new Passport in USA OR not? What happen if I have new passport at the time of interview & my DS160 is filled with Old passport...

I have got US citizenship in 2008. And got the OCI and same time my Indian Passport was stamped (passport canceled as holder has acquired us citizenship). When i look at http://www.in.ckgs.us/renunciation/r...june2010.shtml
