H4 to H1B conversion after getting i140 approval

I was working on H1B for 6 years and had to convert to H4 due to maxing out H1B while Perm was still in progress. Received Perm approval and will file for i140. Do I need to travel back to India to get H1B stamped in order to start working again after receiving i140 approval?
