Father Name Spelling mistake in My passport- L1 VISA application

Hi All,

I need some help. I am filling out my DS-160 form for L1 Visa. I will have a visa appointment soon (within 2-3 weeks from now)
My passport has a spelling mistake in my father's name.

e.g. My father's real name is : ABC KUMAR DEFGH

I have submitted form DS 160 online, and on the confirmation page i came to know that there is a spelling mistake (instead of letter I , i typed in letter Y) on my place of birth..I have not yet booked my appointment yet..do i need to resubmit form ds 160 one more time..? if...
