SSN with approved H1B petition

I am on H4 but I have approved H1 petition, can i apply for SSN with approved H1 petition, client letter, LCA and SOW ?? I dont have H1B stamped. Is it mandatory that i should get paid once i get SSN ?

Hello

I was in US on H1 between Dec 2007 to June 2008. During that period I was issued SSN. So is that SSN be valid till date?

Now this time my H1 petition is approved. So while filling DS 160, do I need to mention SSN or I can ignore that field?

I joined a company in May 2011 on H1b and quit in November and returned to India. Now I am back in the US again on B1/B2, looking for a Job and getting married to my boyfriend. Is my SSN still valid? Can I use it to get a Driving License, phone or getting married?
