Mother surname wrong spelling on passport

Hi, I'm from Brazil. I'm applying for the Visa, the thing is that my mother's name is
Cristina Luzia Pinheiro Berto

However on my passport the name is spelled as

Cristina Luiza Pinheiro Berto.

On the Ds-160 I should fill with the correct surname....

my wife recently applied for an H4 visa and it was approved. When the passport arrived, we noticed that the visa had H1B written on it. Is it normal? How do we fix this ?

Hi all,

My mother's surname in my passport is spelled wrong. Instead of Chakraborty , it has been typed as charkaborty. Now my DS-160 form will have the correct spelling of her name, which will not match with the passport. Will it cause rejection of my Visa? Any suggestion is welcome...

All other forms correct but just realized that on my surname on the DS 160 I switched an "o" for a "u' in the middle of my name. I have already scheduled my student visa interview. Will the switching of this letter in my surname cause me to have my visa rejected? Thank you, Concerned........

I just applied B2 extension via e-file for my mom. But after certified the form (form submitted on line), I found the generated PDF file of Application Form shows wrong applicant name information.
The first and last name was mistakenly switched. I don't know why it shows like this way.
