total duration for 182 days on B2 visa

Hello Friends,

I just booked my parents return flights to USA and back to India. When I calculated the exact days its coming to 182 days?
Is this an issue? Will the officer stamp the visa for 180 days only?
Or will my parents have to show the return tickets to the officer...

My previous petition(I129) is expired. Valid through 1-Oct-2013 to 29-Sep-2014. Since it is already expired, does it mean that i need to go through lottery system next time or is the H1B still valid for some more years where i don't have to go through lottery system untill H1B validity...
