Visitor Visa for Parents - There is no surname in my passport but...

I am on H1b now I want to apply visitor visa for parents.

But my passport does not have surname in my name and my parent's name but my parents has surname in their passport. Will there be any issue in their visitor visa approval?

My parents visitor VISA was approved and they got 10 years VISA at Chennai consulate. Their interview was in Kannada.
