While filling dependent details in I134, do I need to specify details of my wife and kid as partially dependent even though...

Surname field limit in D160 (only 33 characters allowed)
Do you know what to do when surname in passport has more characters than the allowed ones (only 33 characters) in D160?
My in-law has 35 characters in his surname but D160 only allows to enter 33 character. Do you know how I can complete D160?
D160 says to fill in the surname/givenname...
