  • I94 dates different in Passport Stamping and CBP website.

    Hi,

My parents are here on B2(Visitor Visa) in Feb. The POE officer has stamped 3 months on their passport, but the CBP website shows 6months

    Has anyone experienced such issue?.

    Your inputs/advise is much appreciated.

    Thank You.

if they wish to stay more than 3 months, they should get an online copy.
And go to a deferred inspection site near your residence to have it corrected.

A list of such sites is available on cbp.gov

If they wish to stay less than 3 months, it won't matter .

        Just a note.

I called the CBP deferred inspection center : http://cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/conta...ed_inspection/ (Mine is Newark, NJ. Calling Hours : 8-10am)

(1)They mentioned the I94 dates on the CBP website is accurate.
(2)Passport stamping date correction is not necessary, if we have the CBP I94 copy during traveling that is suffice.

Note: My parents plan to stay for around 6months as I had already booked their return ticket for 6months.

        Thankyou.

          Good.
But they should bring the copy when entering US next time, just in cast there are questions.

After they leave US, this copy will disappear from the website.
