H1B extension not yet filed can I sponsor my parents B2 Visa

Hi,

My i94 expires on 15th June 2016 and my H1B extension would be filed sometime in May itself however my parents have a B2 visa interview before that on 16th may 2016 and if everything went well they plan to travel sometime around June . I just wanted to know if the delay in my extension filing have an impact on the approval of my parents visa and can I be their sponsor for the travel.
