Random text messages from USCIS

I created an online account as part of the AOS process and registered my 3 cases (I-130‚ I-485 & I-765) online.

Last month I got approved from my green card and received the physical card in the mail on 6/16.

Last night I received a text message to my phone

Your case MSC*** is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov.

At first I thought it might be an online update on my I-130 which was never updated online‚ but this was related to the I-485 (based on the case #).

I logged on to the system a little concerned to see what the update might be‚ and there was no update to any of the cases and the dates on them were all unchanged as of the last time they were updated.

Has anyone else had experience with getting text messages for no reason? Is this a common issue or just a weird anomaly?

I received 3 text messages from 505 area code yesterday. I didn't find it strange because we just had our interview yesterday though the 3 text messages are for my MSC EAD receipts which I already received last month. I got 2 e-mail notifications for my 130 and 485 just after the interview

I received text messages and emails regularly during the processing of my case when updates occurred as expected. This message was sent yesterday with no update having occurred since my case was completed

I did receive similar text this afternoon from 505 969 6669; as the MSC YYYY X number in the text is regarding my I485, I did got the interview scheduled notice on June 20 through email but not text. I tried to logon my online account, but the webpage is unavailable.

I though the website maintenance is on Sunday but not today?

Finally I am able to login to my account, nothing was updated after June 20, the date I received the interview notice. Is such text message from scammer? Is the USCIS database hacked?

Hi, Same here. Today I received 4 text messages from 505 area code about an update with my case. However, when I went online nothing had changed at all. Kind of weird... Perhaps their system is screwed up.

I think it's just a delay in Their system, I had signed up for both email and text update, but last week I only got emails (2) after finally getting update on my EAD. Today however I received 2 text from them.
This as lead me to believe it's a delay in Thierry messaging.

They were doing maintenance on their system today and it was unavailable for a good part of the day. I am sure all these text messages are related to that.

In my case, I had already received 1 text notifications after an update on my case on 6/27/2017. For that update, however, I hadn't received any email notification. Yesterday, I did receive 2 text notifications about updates that did not actually occur, and no e-mails at all. I agree that something appears to be botched in their system, however I'm not sure if that's just a delay, because in that case I think I shouldn't have received the 2 text notifications yesterday.

. I agree that something appears to be botched in their system, however I'm not sure if that's just a delay, because in that case I think I shouldn't have received the 2 text notifications yesterday.

It seems whenever they do maintenance I get locked out of my account. This is the 2nd time in the few months since I signed up for A/C. I agree there seem to be some glitch in their system.
