hmmm we have a PD of March 24, 2017. We have never seen a ready to schedule message. Now my husband right to work is about to expire and USCIS said they are working on Dec 2017 renewals... well what the **** is that going to do for us? Sorry about the foul language i am just fed up to the back teeth with this red tape!

Feb 2017 here so I definitely sympathize with you but have you tried a SR with a letter from the employer? They may expedite it if you can prove the job is dependent on it. In my experience dealing with NBC is much easer and friendlier than the local office. We had an issue that required an expedited service for an EAD combo card. We submitted a letter along with supporting documents (wasn't too much) and not too long after that they processed our request.

I wonder why the F word was not blocked, but every time I say "I sent USCIS everything but the **** *** sink", **** *** sink gets blocked. (the spot where you wash dishes if you don't have a dishwasher). LOL

It sounds like your husband already got his (c)9 category EAD - meaning EAD through marriage-based adjustment of status. In that case, as long as he filed a timely renewal application, his EAD is automatically extended for 180 days. To prove that to an employer, all you have to do is show the
I-797 notice of action that states the application for renewal was received.

I would focus on getting to the interview. Move if you can or have a Senator shake the tree for you.

        All the best,

        USCFFS

I have thought about moving, if I was starting grad school in the fall and have to work myself. We would move to the most remote location in hopes of getting an interview quicker! Yes we are a (c)9 cat. and I found the information on the receipt. My husband tried to renew his drivers license today as he had a short termed one and was told the DPS doesnt recognize the receipt but could get an ID, like what the hell is the difference!
