Interview coming up...what to expect?

I have my interview on Monday morning and I wanted to know if I need to bring a copy of the Form i-864 that my joint sponsor submitted?

Rule of thumb is take a copy of everything you submitted and originals and copies of anything you would like to add

like azblk mentioned, it's best to bring a copy of everything you sent. If your joint sponsor switched jobs, then you would need an updated I-864 with the new information. It's only a concern IF the sponsor's income is lower. Recent pay stubs from your sponsor are also a good idea as proof of current income. If you did not include your sponsor's 2017 federal income tax returns, then I would bring that. It's more practical to get a transcript online. Otherwise, federal income tax + w2s and 1099s.

Hello everyone, my wife and I will have to go to an interview at some point and we have an 8 month old baby that we can't leave with anybody at home. Should we bring him with us to an interview or hire a babysitter for a full day while we're at the interview in USCIS office?

Did you read your interview letter thoroughly? It stated not to do that, so you might as well hire a babysitter.

A portion of the interview is spent verifying information on the forms. It helps to go through them again. You don't have to memorize anything. Sometimes people catch errors or inaccuracies. If you do, you just let the ISO and he/she will correct it. It's just good practice and out of respect for them and the process, too.

2. Wife is pregnant (4weeks) letter from Dr
3. Title of a truck in both of our names
4. Life insurance for both of us
5. 401(k) showing my spouse name
6. Flight/hotel/car tickets for both of us
7. Car insurance policies
8. Utilities bills (water, cell phone, electricity, and internet)
9. Furniture we bought together
10. Tons of pictures
11. Marriage license
12. Passports for me and her
13. Birth certificates
14. Copy of my I-693
15. Current and previous EADs for me
16. Cards from when we got married
17. Credit card statements (as an authorized user)
18. State Employees savings account
19. More miscellaneous stuff
20. My lawyer is coming with me as well

How did you show the proof of furniture that you bought together? We bought a lot of stuff together but the receipts don?t have both of our names together. The only proof is that we bought stuff together is that we buy things with our joint credit card.

Good day everyone, merry Christmas. I have been scheduled for i485 interview in few weeks time but my wife a usc lost her wallet and we couldn’t get her drivers license but she still have a clear printed copy of it. Would that be ok for her to go in with me to the interview
