We cancel your I-485 interview before decide interview date or sending intrviw notice

Hello expert,

My wife is an US permanent resident and we have approve I-130. I had applied I-485 application those PD is 12/27/2016. The current status of application was showing ready for schedule for interview from 6th August,2018. I never got a letter saying my interview had been scheduled or status about schedule date in online(my account USCIS or egov.uscis.gov). From last week showing latest status I-485 interview has been cancelled and we will mail your once reschedule.
Has anyone had this happen before? Is there something possibly wrong with my case? Please, some guidance will be appreciated.

That happened to us. You can look at out timeline. All we got was the online notification "We cancelled your interview". Then the status changed to "As of August 9th, your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". However, we had been at that stage since 04-23-18. We believe it had to do with our change of address. We had moved from Minnesota to the jurisdiction of the Raleigh-Durham, NC field office. Apparently we were there long enough for the interview to be in the scheduling queue/scheduled. The Combo card was approved on 07-31-18 and at that point we had moved back to minnesota. So we called to a change of address back to Minnesota. So our guess is that 2nd change of address triggered the cancellation.
