VO kept pssport but Visa not granted

HI All

Appeared for my B1 in Nov, at New Delhi , Interview with VO wnt well, VO office said your Visa is approved and you will get passport next week as i visited on Friday , but to my suprise when i collect the passport from VFS, Visa was not granted and recd the rejection letter

any sugegstions on this or anyone else faced similar issue

It happened some times, initially VO didn't see any issue to give you Visa, but later they might have found something & rejected your visa.

At the same time, it could be an manual mistake as well.

Try reaching out to local embassy & ask them if this is not by mistake - if needed either re-apply for visa and/or consult an attorney.
