Information about Visa status after name change

Dear Sir/Madam,

Recently My Wife applied for Name change on passport after our marriage. She got a new passport with changed number & they returned old passport with status as cancelled. She already has valid Visa with multiple entries (Till 2016 ) on her previous passport. Could you please guide us how to use that visa if required.

Carry both passports.
