Quick question, can anyone answer me??..
1. Assume, my parents got visa with 10 years on Oct 1st 2006. Can they travel any time or the travel must be within 6 months??.
2. On the other side, if my parents got visa for 6 months, i assume they need to travel before the expiry of 6 months... Is that correct?..
Thanks guys for the answers.

Forgot to ask you this.. I'm very sorry if this question is a repeated one..
This is the situation for us. My mom is a gvt employee and she has the leave sanction from Oct 06 to March 07 and they are going for visa in Oct. If she gets visa for 10 years, that's good, so she can travel anytime.. As we are in the process of my sister's wedding sometime this year end, they might as well finish the wedding and come over here in January..
Here is the tricky part What if they get only 6 months visa??.. I'm sure they can travel to US in January, but wouldnt they only get only 3 months stamped at the port of entry??..
Question is, if the officer is kind enough to give us 6 months, can be able to stamp I-94 for 6 months?..
Does he (At POE) go by Visa expiry date to determing I-94 or by the return ticket date??..
