Procedure for Change of Status.

Hi,

I am in US on L1 and my H1 got approved recently with out COS.

Now I am planning to apply for Change of Status from L1 to H1.

Can you please let me know the procedure for Change of Status (Should my employer apply for amendment of I 129 or use I 539).

Employer has to do it using Form I129.
