I've put together a checklist of documents that i should carry for me and my wife and son's H1/H4 US Visa Interview.Please check and let me know if i've missed out on anything important.
Following is the list i prepared:
1. Passport
2. Original I797
3. DS 156, 157
4. HDFC Receipt, Interview Letter
5. 2 Photos (50mm x 50mm)
6. Letter from Employee verifying your work, salary and relationship of h4 dependents
7. last 6 pay stubs
8. W2 Forms
9. Previous Experience Letter
10. Original Marriage Certificate
11. Original Birth Certificate of children
12. Bank Statements
13. Latest Resume
14. Marriage Photos (for backup)
15. US Address Proof - Utility bill, etc
16. Copy of US Drivers License (for backup)
I dont have a copy of I129 with me. I have the original I797. Is I129 a mandatory document - is there a chance for the consulate interviewer to ask for it?
