Study on H4 viswa.

Hi Friends,
My wife planning to do her Master & she is on H4 visa right now. Do she need to change her visa class to F1 & need to go for stamping or she can start her Master on H4. Please advise.

As per my knowledge, on H4 visa she can't try for job. But for study, yes. She can do it. No need for seperate student visa. H4 is enough.

You can study in H4 visa. However, check with the university that you are applying. Some schools only accepts students in F1 visa. Benefits of having a F1 instead of H4 to study is that you can apply for on-campus job, internship or OPT ( Optional Practical Training - after studies ) which is not possible with H4.
