H1B Visa for BSC Graduate

Hi,

I am a BSC graduate who is currently working in an IT industry. Work experience is 2.5 years. I heard from forums that BSC guys need to have 3 yrs of experience. If that is the case, Cant i get the visa now? Do i need to wait for 6 more months ?

H1B Eligibility Criteria

The requirement mentioned in the link that I provided earlier were very clear. Anyhow, here is the detailed eligibility criteria. You need to fall under one of these categories to be eligible for an H1B.

1) You have a Phd or MasterDegree.

2) You have just possessed a three years degree but have done 12 years of schoolings apart from the degree you have done, and have minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field related to your education or to the field in which you are seeking an employment with US employer.

3) You are having an associated degree apart from the 12 years of schooling you have done, and have 6 years of experience in the related degree or on the field in which you are seeking an employment with US employer.

4) You are high school graduate alone of 12 years, but have a 12 years of experience in the field in which you are seeking an employment with US employer.

Sad news!

I am in a different salary grade. Hence, H1 is not processed by my employer.
Is salary coming into picture in H1 requirement?
