Applying EAD but not able to find a(18) section

When I am trying to search the section (a)(18) Spouse of an L-1 Intracompany Transferee EAD Filing process section in “ Download Instructions for Form I-765 “ from uscis website it was missing, I am sure I have seen this section couple of days back.
Can anyone please help why this section was removed ? where to find L2 EAD process in USCIS website.

I just tried downloading its doing.

For getting EAD fill form I-765 completely and send your qualification details along with ur marriage certificate to the address.

So, does it mean L2 visa holder can no longer get EAD?

Did you call USCIS?

Hi Rama,

I called USCIS, you can go ahead and apply for EAD under a 18 even though it is not mentioned in the I-765 instruction form.

All, Am just wondering if USCIS has plans down the line to disallow folks on L2 to work in the US. Considering that there are loads of L2 folks working on EAD, they might probably want to do away with L2 folks working on EAD.

Am thinking of joining my wife on L2 and then work on EAD. Am just anxious about this development, has this happened before (USCIS removing a category) and still people are allowed to use it?
