Reg. H1 Transfer, Waiting for approval.

Hi,

I got my H1 in 2008 and landed in California in 2009. I got a project and started working with Company A. In Aug 2010, I applied for H1 transfer and got the receipt. So, In Oct 2010, I joined with Company B and started working for them.
Company B applied for Labour for my GC. I got my Labour approved and now, we are applying for I140. However, Till time, we didn't received any status on my H1. When we are checking online about my status of H1B, it is in "Initial Review".

Please advice, what to do in this situation. Help is highly appreciated.

Ask your company attorney to take an info pass appointment with USCIS to discuss the progress of your case. If it is past 90 days since the date of filing the application, then you are eligible for an infopass appointment. It is not advisable to be working so long for a company without proper approval from USCIS. You can also ask your employer to upgrade the application to premium and get a result within 15 days.
