OK I'm not sure if we should be excited yet, or what exactly this means. My wife has been over in the US on her visa. We were married last year so we obviously wanted to apply for her green card. We sent in our I-130 and I-485 with all the supporting documents. Today I received an I-797 letter saying that our I-130 has been approved and to submit our I-485. This is confusing on two levels, firstly because we haven't have an interview yet, and most people say they get their I-130 approval after the interview. On top of that it's requesting we send in our I-485 when we already have months ago with the I-130. So now we're really confused
what should we do should we pop open the champagne yet or no?
