Remittance of Funds from India to a US business

Hello,

I have a business in USA and i am thinking to accept investment from an Indian company.
I am curious to know whether the Indian company can simply remit the money or is there any other formal process to be followed ? (Is there any federal agency / law governing this? Do we have to report this to any agency like IRS etc??)

Any info regarding this is appreciated.

Yes, you can get investment from India. But Indian government permission is need before investment. If the investment is coming through banking channel to US, that is the proof for US tax returns.
