Starting a new business while on H1B

Hi,

We are a bunch of people who are in H1B visa sponsored by our employers, we are planning to build an app and structure a company around it. We would like to understand the answers tot he following questions

1. Does this affect out H1B or Green Card process in any way?
2. Is is legal for us to start or own a business while working full time with our current employer?
3. Can we start an Inc./LLC/LLP with headquarters in USA and hire resources for the same without affecting our current visa?

Don't work

or

Get a green card or H4EAD or some other way that will permit you to work for yourself

or

Make a deal with your existing H employer, eg negotiate a licensing arrangement
