Change of status from B1 to F1

Hi. I got approval for the change of status , now can I apply for Social Security Number or driving license??? I'm not sure if I can do that. Please reply.

Hi. B2 to F1 is no longer a COS or adjustment process. You will need to do consular processing in your home country to obtain an F1 visa.

There is no longer any COS or adjusting required to go from B2 to F1. To get an F1 visa, you'll need to go through consular processing in your native country.
