Change of Status from H4 to H1
Hi Experts,
I am on H4 visa with validity 30th September and I-94 also have same validity.My husband employer is applying for extension soon.Meanwhile I have got my i-20 on 10th June from university with validity of a month.
I cant apply i-539 online.I have to send F1 filing details via mail.My worry is what if worst case I don't get F1 by 30th September 2015.I will be out of Visa and i-94 by them.
Shall I proceed to apply F1 or wait till COS for all of us?
If I wait I might need to take a extra semester or break semester as for OPT have to have 9 credits and 1 year in full time F1 status.
please suggest.
