Niece from China to stay with me and study in US

Hi,

I am a US citizen and was wondering is it possible, and how, for my niece to come from China and study in the USA. She is here now with her father , who has a working visa for 1 year. But my question is can she stay with me and continue studying in US after her father goes back to China ? Is there some way for that ?

Depending on her age!
If she is under 18 some schools can apply for a student visa for her, however they may not have the qualified staff to process the visa status change.
My advice is to get an attorney to help you with this.
It is possible but you will have to show proof of eligibility for the visa
If she is attending a college, then her immigration PDSO can help answer your questions.
