Moving to New company before 6 months after getting GC

Got my GreenCard 3 months back and I am getting wonderful Full time opportunity in some government organization but my employer is warning/threatning me saying if I leave before 6 months, he might complain against me. I didn't signed any contract with my employer and I had worked under him for almost 6 years under H1B.

Can I move without any risk? Can my employer do anything.
