IV Packet

Hello, I want to make sure I have everything for the IV packet.
Could someone please look at this and kindly tell me if I am missing any document? (This is for my husband who is overseas and will be interviewed in a consulate)

* 2 passport photos

* Official Marriage Certificate in Arabic / Official Marriage Certificate translated to English

* Official Birth Certificate in Arabic / Official Birth Certificate translated English

* Police Record

* DS 230 Pt. 1 signed - Pt. 2 not signed

* Copies of all of the above

The DS-230 has been replaced by the online DS-260 form.

You also need to include a copy of your husband's passport ID page.

I paid the AOS fee and sent in the AOS packet a couple weeks ago. Today, I received an invoice to pay the IV bill. Does that mean the AOS packet has been reviewed and accepted, or is there no relation between sending in the AOS packet and receiving the IV fee?


After I pay the IV fee and it shows "PAID", can I send in the IV packet right away?


When will we need to fill out the DS 260 online? Will that appear after they receive the IV packet?

Lately, online payment of NVC fees have been blocked, but the fees could be paid by mail to the NVC.

Once the DS-261 for choice of agent has been registered, the IV online DS-260 form will come up as available o complete.

There is no relation between the AOS packet and the invoice for the IV bill.
